Although computers have become faster today, there are still some processes that take a long time. For example, it still takes six to twelve hours to decipher a human genome sequence consisting of 3 billion base pairs. The mission of Advanced Acceleration Systems, Inc. is to speed up such processes. Methods for speeding up processes include introducing high-performance servers, parallelizing multiple servers using MPI or other methods, and incorporating acceleration boards such as GPGPUs. Another option is to review software processing from the algorithm level to speed it up. If a limited part of a process is taking a long time, it is effective to create a new ASIC dedicated to that process alone and speed it up. We can handle any of the methods listed here, and our strength lies in being able to speed up processes using the most appropriate method.
